The brief

Transnet Engineering needed a launch day for the TAL2001 — the first South African–designed, engineered, and manufactured diesel-electric locomotive — on 4 April 2017 in Pretoria. Then-President Jacob Zuma attended. The brief combined marketing/comms with VVIP protocol under one production team.
